As part of a series of foods and drinks which became essentially famous in New York City, which will be part of my upcoming show this fall, where I have finally decided to be so bold as to cook in the nude, we are featuring the Cosmopolitan. This time it is a very sophisticated drink with raspberry sorbet and sparkling wine. In reality it is very easy to make; and you’ll have a hard time drinking it without sorbet from now on.
INGREDIENTS
Cointreau, 1/2 oz
Raspberry sorbet, 4 tbsp
Lime juice, 1/2 oz
Orange peel for garnish, 2
Sparkling wine, 2 oz
Vodka, 4 oz
HOW TO MAKE IT
Shake all ingredients in a shaker, except for orange peel, for approximately 15 seconds. Pour drink into glasses and garnish with an orange peel twist.
