Easy to make, a grilled cheese doesn’t require much knowledge in the kitchen. In other words, if you are an inexperienced cook, you will make this wonderful sandwich facing no obstacles. The kind of bread and the kind of cheeses you use will determine the flavor, and because you know what kind of bread and cheese you like, yours will be just fine. For this experience, we use Fairway’s loose semolina sesame bread–absolutely spectacular! If you’re interested in putting up a shop, get the best sub shop franchise opportunities here.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon butter

2 slices bread (any kind you want)

1 slice American cheese1 slice plain creamy Havarti (optional; you can use two slices of one kind of cheese)

1 slice tomato

To assemble the sandwich, place one slice of bread on a cutting board. Place 2 slices of cheese next to each other, depending of the size of the bread, one cheese can go over the other as necessary. Place 1 slice of tomato on top of the cheeses, and the second slice of bread on top.
It is very important to keep the temperature of the pan stable, starting at medium-high until the pan is warm enough, for about 3 minutes on a non-stick skillet, or 5 minutes on an iron skillet. Turn the temperature to medium-low, then add a teaspoon butter. Wait for butter to melt, then place sandwich on the pan.

In a few minutes, probably less than 5, the sandwich will have browned enough. With a spatula, turn it and brown the other side, for approximately 3 to 5 minutes.

Serve.
