Houston on the Hudson? Hmm… Just Hudson Yards!

No, not because its fancy clothing store is Neiman Marcus instead of Sacks Fifth Avenue that the sight is in Texas, or because its tall buildings have no impressive architecture such as Rockefeller Center or the World Trade Center. It is just Hudson Yards!

This interesting and somewhat different complex makes a statement of its own, with performance spaces, great restaurants and a beautiful landscape to explore.

The vessel hasn’t been named yet, but it is already popular among tourists, as crowds stand on long lines waiting for their turn to walk on a 16-story-tall structure like an elevated park.

The Shed is perhaps its best attraction for locals, with a great space on the inside, a kind one doesn’t see easily in New York.

The tall buildings don’t look or feel like the city that never sleeps, but they look good especially from a distance.
