POINT BRAZIL

Point Brazil has typical Brazilian food, at really affordable prices. Local people in Astoria, Queens, love eating there, specially on warm nights when they can sit outside and enjoy the nice neighborhood’s fresh air.
I went to Point Brazil a few times, and loved the food, as well as the nice and friendly people who work there. The service is self-service, so you just walk in and get your food from the buffet, and bring it to the counter. They will weigh it and you’ll pay per amount of food. Then you can just go back to your table and enjoy your meal. I always make sure there’s a table available for me before I get the food, because I’m not the type of guy who’ll be standing in case the restaurant is too full.
How to get there?
From Manhattan, you can take the R train to Steinway in Astoria, Queens. The restaurant is located at 3801 Thirty-First Avenue. If you get lost, you can call them at 718.278.1934 and ask them for directions.
